Question: Do Smeg dishwashers have a special anti-bacterial cleansing wash programme?
Various Smeg dishwashers feature either the individual UltraClean cleansing programme or the HyClean option, which is selected in conjunction with a regular wash cycle. In both cases the dishwasher performs an additional rinse at 70°C, at which temperature virtually all bacteria is eliminated. Ideal for baby bottles, chopping boards and other kitchen items that must be extremely clean and hygienic.
