The SLB147X excels as a result of its modern and rigorous aesthetics, improved washing performance and energy efficiency. The sizeable stainless steel drum and innovative Volume Plus technology boost washing results for large loads up to a capacity of 7kg.
The new digital display means you can easily select and programme the various functions, check the time remaining and recommended load. With an A+ energy efficiency rating, the new Smeg washing machine is very energy efficient, consuming 10% less energy than regular Class A models. Using either hot or cold water is also possible, and if water which has already been heated using solar energy is available, then the appliance will consume fully 35% less energy than a Class A equivalent.
The spin speed is variable up to a maximum of 1400rpm. 15 programmes have been created to provide the best washing care for different types of textiles and laundry, including a series of special cycles such as Jeans, Shirts and Night. The additional Extra Rinse option is very useful for people who suffer from allergies or who have sensitive skin as it removes all traces of detergent from your clothes, while the Anti-Crease function makes ironing a breeze.
The self-clean detergent drawer is another valuable function. Jets of water cover every part of the drawer, removing all traces of detergent. The large porthole, with a diameter of 30cm and 180° door opening, makes loading and unloading the machine easier.
